Fluidotherapy Cross Contamination
Our Fluidotherapy® line comes in two different models and have specially designed fluidized
beds that combine the precise control of dry heat temperature and airflow with CELLEX®
media. This combination works to generate the mechanical effects of skin desensitization and
limb buoyancy.
As indicated in the product instruction manual, cleaning of the Fluidotherapy device should
observe the statements listed below. Observance of the product instruction manual and the
highlighted product manual statements listed below will minimized the potential of cross
contamination.

CLEAN THE PATIENT TREATMENT AREA THOROUGHLY WITH AN
ANTIMICROBIAL SOAP AND CLEAN WATER AS PER INDUSTRY/ FACILITY/
REGULATORY STANDARDS, AND UNIVERSAL SKIN WASHING PROCEDURES.

FOLLOWING THE SKIN WASHING PROCEDURE, APPLY A HOSPITAL GRADE
ANTISEPTIC SKIN CLEANSER, PER THE CLEANSER MANUFACTURER'S
RECOMMENDED INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE.

