Students who have completed
a relevant post-experience
postgraduate degree from
a similarly accredited
institution in the last five
years may be eligible for
Advanced Standing.
This is assessed on a case by
case basis, and you can apply for
Advanced Standing by submitting
the application form (available
from student.uwa.edu.au/course/
forms) to the Student Centre.
Some Professional Qualifications are
also eligible for credit to the MBA.
Students may also participate in short
term programs overseas for credit
towards their MBA.

Students who have completed units in a postgraduate program offered through the UWA Business
School may be eligible for advanced standing (credit transfer) in the UWA MBA program to a maximum of
24 points (4 units). Decisions will be made by the Sub-Dean on a case by case basis, taking into account
the degree of overlap in unit content. Note: Credit transfer for units in pre-experience programs from
other institutions is not permitted.
