MA and MS program require 36 hours.
Ph.D. courses requires the same courses as the MA plus additional ones listed as well as those
determined by the program committee. Total of 90 hours minimum required for Ph.D., of those 45 must
be taken during and after the semester in which the program of study is submitted.

Electives
Any course that is not required can serve as an elective. The course must be approved by chair of
Master’s committee and/or Ph.D. committee. It is recommended that one course will be taken outside the
psychology department.
