Fingerprinting Location/Hours/General Information Welcome to Seminole County Public Schools! We want to assist you with the background screening process as quickly and efficiently as possible. Your fingerprints will be scanned at the Educational Support Center using the latest electronic live-scan fingerprinting technology. The Seminole County Public Schools Fingerprinting Services Center is located on the first floor of the Education Support Center, 400 E. Lake Mary Boulevard, Sanford, Florida which is approximately 4 miles south of Sanford between US Highway 17/92 and State Road 417). See map. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Fingerprinting Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 12 PM & 2 PM to 4 PM (Closed daily from 12 PM to 2 PM, holidays and days the District is closed for business) +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ IMPORTANT NOTICES Beginning January 1, 2012, fingerprinting fees to obtain a criminal background screening have changed. Please refer to specific personnel web page information for additional information. Fingerprint Fee Payments: SCPS is unable to accept payments made via the FLPRINTS.com website. Until further notice, all payments for criminal background checks must be made directly to the Finance Department located on the 3rd floor of the Educational Support Center, 400 E Lake Mary Blvd., Sanford FL, 32773). +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Except for newly SCPS-hired Instructional & Non-Instructional Employees, fingerprinting is done on a first come first serve basis with available sign- in slots upon arrival. Should an unexpectedly high volume of fingerprint activity occur on any given day, Seminole County Public Schools cannot guarantee openings will be available at the end of the day. Note: In addition to requirements set forth in Section 1012.32 F.S, 1012.315, 1012.465, the Jessica Lunsford Act or any other applicable statutes, all persons who enter upon school grounds and/or having direct contact with students may be required to provide supplemental information that could include appropriate arrest records, court documents, work history, and personal recollections of any criminal history information or certification issues developed as a result of a background check. All information provided is subject to verification, review and/or further investigation before approval.
