neuroscience, biomedicine, biotechnologies for purification of soils and water objects;
PCR-laboratory, biotechnology companies, medical centers in vitro fertilization, centers
of hygiene and epidemiology.
Direction 03.04.02 - Physics
Physics methods and information technology in Biomedicine
Foreign partner: University of Maastricht (Netherlands) involved in medical imaging by
3-5T MRI scanners and analysis.
The field of competence of graduates: the reconstruction of images from raw data (MRI,
CT, ultrasound), 3D image reconstruction, the creation of 3D models of body parts
(head, chest, heart).
Fundamental and applied physics
Partners: Photochemistry Center of RAS (Moscow), University of Reims (France)
involved in internship.
Main areas of activity of graduates: R&D in photonics, spectroscopy and their
applications.
Direction 15.04.03- Applied mechanics
The mechanics of biocomposites, design and modeling of its structure
Russian partners: Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science of SB RAS (base
for scientific works of students), Baltic Federal University by I. Kant (internship),
Foreign partners: University by G. Ohm (Berlin, Germany), Institute of Technology of
Ceramics (Faenza, Italy), the University of Crete (Greece) involved in implementation of
training modules.
Main areas of activity of graduates: scientific organizations and high-tech companies
engaged in developments in the field of bioceramics and biocomposites
Direction 01.04.02- Applied mathematics and Informatics
Data mining and bioinformatics
Russian partner: Siberian state medical University (Tomsk)-medical Informatics,
Foreign partners: Goldsmiths College (University of London) - comparative genomics
and statistical analysis of sequences, Technical University of Dresden (Germany) –
high-performance bioinformatics, DeepLearning; Arizona State University, Biodesign
Institute (USA) – visualization of biomedical data.
The field of competence of graduates: in silico medicine, neurogenetics, molecular
genetics and genomics analysis, research and development of algorithms and software
in the field of data mining for bio-objects and functions of biological molecules, ICT
infrastructure, algorithms and software development for bioinformatics.
