Biology curriculum map
The curriculum map (table 1) shows the courses offered by the biology convening group which are
core (nonelective) courses in the major. We believe very strongly that biology electives are an
integral part of our major and that these courses greatly enhance our students’ education experience,
but they are different for each student and would be difficult to evaluate at this time.
