Job Description:
Sharpen your talent as an “intrapreneur”. Merchants Bonding Company is looking for risk and financial
analysts who will become a valued consultants to our agents and brokers in the Northeast area. Our underwriters
forge relationships with agents and brokers, soliciting and analyzing commercial bond submissions to make
underwriting recommendations worth tens of thousands of dollars. These underwriters will work out of their
homes, traveling up to 20% of the time to their assigned territories.
Successful underwriters have a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent work
experience in the bond industry and/or commercial banking/real estate plus 4-6 years of business experience in
related financial positions.
