Claudia (Chunyan) Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at
Pace University. She obtained her Ph.D. and MBA degrees from
Rutgers University. Prior to joining Pace in 2001, she was a financial
officer at the Chinese Ministry of Finance where she was involved in
the Chinese accounting reform. She also conducted research at Bell
Labs, and worked as a technical manager at the International
Federation of Accountants (IFAC).
Dr. Li has taught in the areas of financial accounting, managerial
accounting, cost management, advanced financial reporting and
accounting information systems.
She has published papers at Journal of Global Business Analysis,
Review of Accounting and Finance, International Journal of Accounting, Public Fund Digest,
and Indian Accounting Review. Her research interests include capital markets, IFRS and
convergence, government and management accounting.
