What is imaging flow cytometry?
Imaging flow cytometry combines the statistical power and fluorescence
sensitivity of flow cytometry with the spatial resolution and quantitative
morphology of microscopy in a single instrument. The platform is equipped with
an Amnis ImageStream X Mark II. The microscopic images obtained with this
cytometer provide qualitative and quantitative image data of every event
acquired in flow. Applications for this technology include: cell signaling, cell
cycle and mitosis, internalization, co-localization, cell-cell interaction,
morphology, cell death and autophagy, DNA damage and repair and spot
counting.
