The History and
Culture of Disease
and Healing
is a seminar-style course presented in collaboration with
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
(UTHealth) School of Public Health, Rice University & the
University of Houston.
This course is a humanities course offered to professionals and students of
professions in the fields of medicine and health.
Seminar attendance will include registered students from above institutions and
professionals in public health related disciplines.

nurses, social workers and other public health professionals that attend the Tuesday seminar
series. Individual seminar attendance allowed—NOT required to attend entire series.
