UNSAFE ACTS OR CONDITIONS
Unexpected wildlife behavior (e.g. charges)
RECOMMENDED ACTION OR PROCEDURE
Avoid approaching wildlife too closely; Use binoculars and spotting scope to minimize observation distances.
Always approach animals cautiously
Know behavioral postures and warning signs for species being observed; stop approaching at any sign of irritation.
Identify a clear escape route for both the animal and employees.
Carry and be prepared to use pepper spray.
Carry a park radio.
