The Human Body: An Orientation
Anatomical Poster
Directions: First go through and define the following terms.
Then, draw a picture (or trace one) of a human body in
anatomical position. You will then draw in and label all of the
planes, sections, body cavities & directional terms listed below.
You may want two drawings of the human body, one that is a
profile. The drawings and this sheet should be on the first few
pages of your journal. Use chapter 1 of your textbook for a
reference or the pictures on the website. You may cut and print
pictures but the words need to be in your handwriting.
