Topics of PhD theses offered
My scientific activity concerns the use of both gas and liquid chromatography
combined with mass spectrometry in order to identify a number of substances in the
field of environmental pollutants, pharmaceuticals, cosmetology and manufacturers
of plant protection products.
At the present time, I work on verification of the authenticity of processed meat
products based on peptide profile, electronic cigarettes, penetration of technological
additives used in the manufacture of plastic containers, food and the development of
new membrane extraction techniques from complex matrix samples.
Information about scientific projects conducted in the last five years (title,
amount):
1. Participant of European grant (PR 7) “FoodIntegrity - Ensuring the integrity
of the European food chain - Consumer and brand protection in complex foods
from protein signatures using mass spectrometry” FP7-KBBE-2013-7-613688,
Work Package “Consumer and Brand Protection in Complex Foods from
Protein Signatures Using Mass Spectrometry” my role: developing and
validating analytical methods for food characterisation; evaluating effect of
food structure and processing on nutrient profiles in model and real food
products, 1st March 2016 to 31st December 2018, 165 973 Euro
