Total RNA was recovered from Hamster liver tissue using the Norgen
RNA/DNA/Protein PLUS Kit and the Competitor Q RNA/DNA/Protein
Kit and resolved on a denaturing agarose gel. Only the Norgen kit
recovers small and microRNA effectively, as indicated by the white
box.

Genomic DNA was isolated from liver tissue and HEK 293 cells using
Norgen’s and Competitor Q’s Kits. As can be seen, Norgen provided far superior DNA recovery and quality from both sample types.

Competitor Q purified proteins shown in gel #1 are resuspended in
a provided SDS-PAGE loading buffer. Gel #2 shows the same Competitor Q proteins dissolved in Tris buffer. Norgen proteins shown
on both gels are column-purified, desalted and buffer-exchanged
making them well-suited to any application including mass spectrometry.
