Nuclear membrane
Clone AE-5
Cat. no. MON 7061
Specificity
AE-5 recognizes an antigen associated with the nuclear membrane expressed in human cells.
Source: A BALB/c mouse was immunized with nuclei of myeloid leukemia biopsy cells. The
isolated splenocytes were fused with mouse myeloma cells.
Immunoglobulin type
Mouse IgG1
Use
AE-5 produces a ring staining pattern around the nucleus of normal and malignant cells and can
be used for paraformaldehyde fixed or frozen tissue or cell preparations and formalin fixed,
paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Tonsil tissue is the recommended positive control tissue. The
mAb can also be used as a marker of the nuclear membrane in subcellular fractions.
