Real-time PCR findings show accurate, reproducible results for both
RNA isolation techniques, resulting in high correlation of quantification
cycles (Cqs) for the 19 different reference genes tested.
Experimental setup: 30,000 HeLa cell equivalents/well were used for
RNA preparation. RNA was reverse transcribed using the Transcriptor
First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit. Real-time PCR amplification was
performed on the LightCycler ® 480 Instrument (96-well format, 20 µl
reaction), using the LightCycler ® 480 Probes Master and RealTime
ready Human Reference Gene Panel.
