Marco Piccinini is Associate Professor in Biochemistry, University of Turin Medical School and holds a PhD in Biochemistry. During the PhD course he has been visiting scientist at the Department of Protein Chemistry of the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry in Martinsried. Presently his research interests are focused on the role played by the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway in cell-cycle regulation and in NF-κB signaling in normal and tumor cells.
