A sequence with a common difference; the difference between one term
and the next term is always the same. The difference is called the common
difference, or constant difference.
A term derived from its position in the sequence, n. This is also known as
the explicit form of a sequence.)
explicit formula: an = a1 + ( n - 1) d
an represents the nth term of the sequence;
a1 represents the first term in the sequence;
d is the common difference for the arithmetic sequence; and
n represents the NUMBER of a term (for the 7th term, n would be 7).
This form should be simplified whenever possible.

y-intercept is 0, as in (0, 3).
