TEXT: 1 THESSALONIANS 4:13-16 AND MATTHEW 24
What if you woke up and the headlines all over the News and Internet read:
“Millions Of People Missing.” Planes were falling out the Sky; cars were left in
the middle of the streets, thousands of traffic accidents and streets blocked up
for miles. Mothers and fathers are crying in Dred because their children are
nowhere to be found. THE PRIME MINISTER IS SET TO ADDRESS THE Nation
and try to calm the panic that has erupted on every island and nation around
the world ”
What would be your reaction? I’m sure there will be many conspiracy theories of
Terrorist and Alien abductions but the truth is, one day this will and may be a
reality. I am not crazy! At least I don’t think I am and I know some of you are saying
Pastor Duerre has lost his mind and right at the end of the year! No I have Not I just
believe what the Bible Says.
MATTHEW 24:36-40
There is coming a day when God will gather his people unto himself and his wrath
will be poured out on the earth. The bible tells us of an Anti Christ and a Tribulation
Period of 7 years. (Daniel 9) This whole Period is so that he can prepare Israel for
the coming Messiah, to cleanse her from iniquity. An Anti Christ who will bring
peace for 3 ½ years will deceive Israel.
Matthew 24:11 Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.
The anti Christ during the time of the Tribulation will be able to do something no
other world leader was able to accomplish. That is bringing peace to the tumultuous
state of the Middle East. Right now there are talks of peace treaties in Palestine and
the western world is encouraging The Muslim nations and Israel to come in Peace
agreements. Unfortunately there is still no sign of Peace between these nations and
there is constant fighting on the Gaza Strip. Watch this clip to see how accurate

As a result of bringing this peace and men will begin to worship him as their
Messiah. Lets read what scripture says:
Daniel 9: 27
There will be 3 ½ years of peace and 3 ½ Years of Chaos and tribulation. And this is
not a time that anyone would want to be around. The bible says it will be a horrible
time watch the horror the scriptures describe:
MATTHEW 24:19-21
9 But
woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in
those days! 20 But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a
Sabbath. 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not
occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.
Now I must mention here there are Three Different Beliefs/ Theology when it
comes to the Rapture of the church
1. Mid Tribulation…In the middle 3 1/2 years:
22 Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but
for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
People Read This Text and put it in a sequential order as if Jesus is giving a Timeline.
But he speaks directly to the great wrath that would be poured out on the earth
because of her iniquity. There are two different elects the elect here In Matthew
24:22 is the 144,000 Jews mentioned in Revelation 7. The Church IS THE SECOND
ELECT that will be gathered And to shatter this thought 1 Thessalonians 5:9 -11 For
God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our
Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep,
we will live together with Him. 11 Therefore encourage one another and build
up one another, just as you also are doing.
2. Pre Tribulation Before the Wrath of God is poured out:
Covered By The Blood: First of all, the very nature of the Tribulation
precludes the church from going through any of it. The Tribulation is a time
of wrath, judgment, indignation, darkness, destruction, and death. Paul
wrote, “There is therefore now no condemnation (judgment) to those who
are in Christ Jesus” (Rom. 8:1). The church has been cleansed by the blood
of Jesus and needs no other purification. “If we confess our sins, He is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9)
Salt Conquers Satan: Paul tells them “not to be soon shaken in mind or
troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the
day of Christ had come” (2Thess 2:1, 2). Paul says that they are not in the
Tribulation. He writes, “that Day will not come unless the falling away comes
first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition” (v.3). The “man of
sin” is the Antichrist, who will come from the federated states of Europe, the
final form of Gentile world power. The Antichrist has not appeared, “for the
mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains
(hinders) will do so [keep on hindering] until He is taken out of the way”
(v.7). Who is restraining Satan from presenting the Antichrist to the world
as God? It is the church, the salt of the earth, that conquers corruption on
contact. When the Lord Jesus appears in the clouds of heaven to remove the
church from the earth, God’s restraint will be removed, and Satan can then
accomplish his purpose of dominating the world—but not until the church has
been raptured from the earth.
Here is what we do know Before The Great Wrath is poured out, because we are
only in Beginning of birth pains the stage is being set for Eternity. We who remain
alive and Faithful will be with God. Just as The Old Testament Enoch:

Genesis 5:25 3. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixtyfive years. 24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took
him.
The Dead In Christ will rise again. This is “ Not the Second Coming of Christ this is
The “Gathering, the catching away of the Church.” The Rapture! Paul describes it in:
1 Thessalonians 4:16 6 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the
dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be
caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and
so we shall always be with the Lord.
Bottom Line: Be ready because our Flight can take off at any moment and you don’t
want to be late to the gate!
This day will come like a Thief in the Night: For This reason you must be
READY! Mathew 24: 44 For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of
Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
