A Research Project on
Measuring Organizational Cultural Distances
Creating and Testing a Dynamic Method
Survey - Questionnaire - 2005
Dear reader, the aim of this survey is to quantify four human parameters that
presumably affect cultural distances either narrowing or widening gaps between
business organizations.
This questionnaire is structured into six parts: 1. Your opinion on the general
importance of the four human parameters, namely a) attitude, b) interest, c)
knowledge and d) adaptation ability concerning the three cultures in focus
(Sweden in the west- Finland in the middle - Russia in the east); 2. Your scores
for the human parameters concerning Sweden; 3. Your scores for the human
parameters concerning Finland; 4. Your scores for the human parameters
concerning Russia; 5. Some questions concerning innovativeness; 6. Some
demographics. Please, fill in the form completely by crossing each visual
analogue scale (VAS) with a line:
positive pole (----------/----------) negative pole.
