The Information Security Advisor is the touch-point of Mindteck’s many Information Security offerings; all focused on the growth of this industry within Mindteck. The Advisor is able to draw from a skill-set with breadth and depth, and bring those skills to bear to benefit our extremely loyal, and rapidly growing, list of clients. The Advisor should be analytical, but capable of fluidly communicating to all organizational levels. Knowledge and experience related directly to information security and compliance challenges is critical in providing in-depth analysis and sound guidance to our clients and sales team. Key Responsibilities: Create working relationships with sales team and other Mindteck teams Assist in the development of an Information Security engagement model Assist in the creation of marketing material Design and maintenance of Metrics and KPI reporting Participate as an Information Security SME in the sales meeting May be required on occasion to present information on security status, project status, and security training to audiences from management to field staff as appropriate Understand client’s needs and recommend solutions and business models to win business Assist in the creation of technical proposals for clients Conduct probing, incisive interviews with potential clients Information Security training and awareness presentations to all organizational levels Perform cold calls to new clients Schedule introductory meetings with sales teams and clients Job Requirements: Passionate about IT-Security and the ability to make others understand the need and the value Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking with abilities in relationship management 10+ years direct experience in Information Security One or more of the following professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CRISC, CISM or CISA. Ability to speak confidently on domain expertise and lead dialog with executives and technical personnel Positive attitude, strong approach to teamwork, and highly developed sense of humor Ability to identify business requirements and risks into technology implementation for securityrelated issue Technical proficiency in security-related hardware and software; ability to function as a consultant to others on security matters as a recognized technical expert Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the security team's concern for customers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding Work Environment: Alternative work style Flexible hours Retirees and long term un-employed are welcome to apply
