fascia (medial); the inferior margin of the greater sciatic notch
(superior); the distal border of the ischial tuberosity (inferior).

o Piriformis, gemellus superior, obturator internus, gemellus inferior,
quadratus femoris, long head of biceps femoris, semitendinosus,
and semimembranosus
• Neural and vascular structures
o posterior femoral cutaneous nerve, superior gluteal nerve, inferior
gluteal nerve, nerve to obturator internus, nerve to quadratus
femoris muscle, pudendal nerve and sciatic nerve.
o superior gluteal vessels, inferior gluteal vessels, and internal
pudendal vessels, and medial circumflex femoral artery.
