Grade HOURS: 2 Hours March 14th to June 16th THIRD TRIMESTER TOPICS Musical instruments classification. Rhymes, riddles and tongue twisters. Rhythmic notation (whole note, half note, the quarter note, its musical rests and double eight notes). Soprano recorder: Fingering (C major scale) and simple melodies. Musical assemble: voice and instrumental songs and musical canon. THIRD TRIMESTER GOALS L – Identifies the general classification of musical instruments and their main characteristics. Recognizes visual and auditorily families of the instruments. Makes attentive audition of musical tales. L – Interprets with ease voices and rhythmic exercises. Imitates rhymes, riddles and tongue twisters. Makes rhythmic exercises with musical notes, whole note, half note, quarter note, its musical rests and double eight notes. Practices the canon in a vocal and instrumental level. L – Plays correctly the C major scale on the recorder. Practices the musical notes on the recorder: re and do (bellow). Exercises the digitation of C major scale (one octave) on the soprano recorder. Interprets simple melodies on the recorder (in C major scale).
