Waste Pro Recognized for Increased Market Share
by Business and Trade Publications
LONGWOOD, FL – October 3rd, 2016 – Waste Pro, a Longwood, Florida-based solid
waste and reycling service provider, has been named the third largest privately
owned company in Central Florida, according to Orlando Business Journal’s Golden
100 Companies. Revenues in 2016 will approach $600 million. The company’s
nine-state fooprint includes more than 2 million customers, more than 2,900
employees and 2,400 collection trucks as well as more than 28 operating locations
within the state of Florida.
Also recognizing Waste Pro’s growth and increased market share this year was
Waste360. In its 2016 Waste 100, Waste Pro is ranked #13 of America’s largest
waste collection companies. Public and private companies presented on this list are
ranked yearly according to revenue generation from the hauling and disposal of
various types of solid waste. Waste Pro ranked #3 among privately owned hauling
and disposal companies within the United States.
Private ownership makes Waste Pro particularly unique in its ability to expand
operations and sustain consistant financial growth in a strategic and competitive
manner. Waste Pro continues to demonstrate its commitment and economic

John J. Jennings of Longwood, Florida founded Waste Pro in 2001 and built the

million in 2014 to $551 million in 2015.
