Cancer summary:
The vast majority of lung cancers are associated with cigarette smoking. The risk
increases with each cigarette smoked. Second hand smoke is also associated with lung
cancer and is associated with thousands of deaths per year.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. It is also the second
leading cause of cancer deaths in this group. Its importance is further enhanced
by the psycho-social issues involved in this disease
Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men and the number one cancer
killer in men. Every man is at risk for prostate cancer. Risk for prostate cancer increases
with age.
