DEFINITIONS and CONCEPTS
•DEFINITIONS OF A PROFESSIONAL
A Professional is a person who provides a service in
exchange for payment in accordance with established
protocols for licensing, ethics, procedures, standards of
service and training.
A professional is a member of a licensing body which is
legally established within the laws of a given state, county,
province or nation.

ALL COUNTRIES HAVE A RIGHT TO
ESTABLISH THE QUALIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES,
TECHNICAL STANDARDS, AND
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS WITH
RESPECT TO THE PROVISION OF
SERVICES IN THEIR MARKET
THE DOMESTIC REGULATIONS ARE
FOR ALL PERSONS, DOMESTIC AND
FOREIGN, WORKING IN THE CARICOM
SINGLE MARKET AND ECONOMY
(CSME)
FREE MOVEMENT APPLIES TO ALL
CARICOM NATIONAL. THE
NATIONALS OF THIRD COUNTRIES DO
NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO FREE
MOVEMENT IN THE SINGLE SPACE.
