Thaddeus V. Day, Esq.
Born in Portland, Thaddeus was raised in Auburn and Brunswick. After earning Eagle Scout, he
graduated from Brunswick High School, Clarkson University with a B. S. in Industrial Distribution with
distinction, Pennsylvania State University with a Masters in Management/Business Administration, and
the Maine School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in the top half of his class. Thaddeus has been practicing
law as a member of the Maine Bar since May 15, 1997.
From 1996 to 2002 Thaddeus worked at the State of Maine Bureau of Taxation, Appellate Division,
Bureau of Financial Institutions, Securities Division, and Bureau of Insurance, Property and Casualty
Division.
In 2002 Attorney Day opened his own practice. Now, the Law Offices of Thaddeus V. Day, PLLC is
located at 440 Walnut Hill Road, North Yarmouth, Maine. Thaddeus practices in the area of Taxation,
Probate, and Estate Planning, including work on issues of Guardianship, Conservatorship, Trusts, Wills,
Power of Attorneys, United States and State income, gift, and estate taxes, and end of life planning.
Attorney Day has litigated issues related to his work in Maine State Courts, United States District Court,
and United States Tax Court. He serves as a conservator, personal representative, and advocate for
estates. He also provides services in the following areas: Probate Administration, Parental Rights,
Divorce, Child Custody, Social Security Benefits, corporate and contract formation, real estate, personal
injury, and criminal defense. As a member of the Maine State Bar Association, Attorney Day is a

serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve and Staff Judge Advocate for the 157 Air
Refueling Wing at Pease Air National Guard Base.
Thaddeus is active in North Yarmouth as an appointed member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, elected
vice chair of the Budget committee, president of the North Yarmouth Business Association, and is
working to reestablish the North Yarmouth Memorial Park committee.
Thaddeus resides in North Yarmouth with his lovely wife Holly and their three children.
