Job Description Job Title Business Development Manager Reporting to Sales & Marketing Director Overall Purpose Securing new business – proactively creating, identifying, developing and converting opportunities Scope of role To create, identify and build upon opportunities for business development in line with the objectives and values of APM Key Tasks Identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities Liaising with the business to develop propositions Prospecting our existing customer database for client development Internal and external networking to obtain leads Preparing and producing tender, sales and proposition documents Relationship building and stakeholder management to support client acquisition Account managing the delivery of consultancy services Actively developing contacts within the market and representing the business externally Managing all sales and development opportunities in line with our policy and procedures Maintaining a strong working knowledge of the market place and contract requirements Actively contributing to the successful delivery of the business plan Budgetary management and compliance in line with our policy and procedures Other duties, as directed from time to time.
