Macro control is an important method to conduct the sustained, rapid and sound development
of the national economy and to enhance the all-round social progress. In these years, China’s
Macroeconomic administration has gained great success and in economic field, we have seen a
fairly rapid growth, comparatively good benefit, optimization of economic structures, and great
improvement of the livelihood. Since the later half of the year of 2009, under the drive of three
factors which are: the stimulus of expansionary monetary policies and fiscal policies in different
countries, inventory cycle turns and the improvement of financial markets, the world economy has
stepped out of the economic recession. In the first season of 2010, economies of some emerging
markets and developed countries like the U. S. and Japan quickly recovered. The trend of
economic recovery is further established which means that the world economy has generally
entered the recovery cycle.
Currently, the negative influence of financial crisis is not totally gone yet. Both challenges
and opportunities exist for the developing countries. To realize that rational and effective
macroeconomic control will help maintain their domestic economic growth speed and guarantee
the living standard. China’s macro control has seen evident achievements and managed to stabilize
its economic situation. China would like to share its experience and lessons accumulated in
macroeconomic management with other developing countries.
This seminar is expected to give a detailed introduction to China’s achievements ever made
Seminar
Content
and difficulties ever met in macroeconomic management since the Reform and Opening up so as
to let the recipient countries get to know the features of China’s market economy system and its
development strategies. The seminar will also provide opportunities for in-depth discussions about
our common concern, offer experience and reference for them in the area of macroeconomic
management which will be helpful for improving their economic management capacity. It’s
expected that through the seminar, other developing countries will have reference to base on while
formulating economic and social development policies and thus to make right decisions, maintain
the coordinated development of all kinds of economic fields, extending the stabilization stage of
its economic development. Therefore, the seminar has its realistic significance in dealing with the
economic crisis facing different countries under the new situation and promoting the economic
recovery. Through communication in different forms, we can collect information and build up
channels for international economic and trade cooperation among different countries and help
them explore emerging markets, and also it can consolidate the friendships among different
countries and their people.
