The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics conducts an annual nation-wide survey of work-related injuries and illness in all U.S. industries. The results
from the 2014 survey, the most recent for which data has been published, reported that semiconductor workers achieved one of the lowest
recordable injury rates of work-related injuries and illnesses for the all U.S. durable goods manufacturing industries – 1.6 cases per 100 full-time
workers.
