The purpose of TAG Mail is to assist TAG members identify and share relevant information for their

**Enabling pharmacists to improve the care of people living with a disability in NSW
- The University of Sydney is conducting research into the impact of a pilot educational initiative
regarding disability for pharmacists The study aims to up-skill pharmacists in the
pharmacotherapeutics of disabling conditions, improve pharmacists’ skills in communication with
people with disabilities, and raise pharmacists’ awareness of disability.
Participation involves attendance at a half-day workshop, completion of a self-study manual, and selfreflection exercises. The workshop will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday 30th October 2016 at the
University of Sydney.
There is no cost to participate and the activities can be self-reported for CPD points. Places are filling
up so if you would like to participate or find out more please call Sharon Davis on 0411817299, or
