Status:
The SEA FIESTA contest is part of a series of events in the program of the WSE 2015
Competitions; They are organized in Sofia and Primorsko. The SEA FIESTA contest is included
in the cultural program of Primorsko with the assistance of the mayor of the municipality.
Competitions on the WORLD STAGE EUROGRADE (WSE) are included in the cultural program of the
town of Primorsko, the cultural calendar of the Ministry of Culture and the calendar of CID (UNESCO).
The festival has the objective to give to a significant number of children and young people the chance to
express themselves and help raise their motivation to engage in constructive creative activity as a preventive measure
in combating the vicious addictions (cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, etc.) and aggression.
Exchange of information and development of the dance styles.
Type of the festival: The festival has a competitive character with prize fund 1000 euro
REGULATION
In the festival can participate dance groups, schools, community centers, Palaces of children, studios, clubs at
home and abroad, without age restrictions.
For participation in the festival is obligatory to fill an application form / application form /, that includes:
biography of the group, video recording, colour photos, address, telephone number, fax and email for
correspondence.
Modern:
Age groups: Mini - 5-7; Children - 8-11; Juveniles - 12-15; Seniors - 16-35; Veterans – above 35 years of
age.
The competition shall be held in four categories: Solo performances; Duets; Chamber groups – up to 7
persons; Formations above 8 persons.
In the competition can take part groups delivering their creativity in any of the following dance styles:
Street dancing /break dancing, funk styles, hip hop, etc./; Disco dancing; Majorette group /dancing, parade and
sports styles/; Modern dancing techniques; Jazz performances; Tap dancing; Typical dancing; Belly dancing; Latin
dancing; Dance show programs /fire show, double jointed, acrobatics, etc./
The program can include up to four dances – one in each category, with a total duration of 12 minutes.
Note: The competition will not be conducted by styles, but the most attractive performance will be
sought.

CONDITIONS:
Duration of the performance in the category solo and duet/ couple - to 2: 30 minutes, in the categories
chamber groups and formations - to 5: 00 minutes (in case that the duration exceeds the given time the
jury is entitled to suspend the performance).
Each group can take part in the competition with a maximum of 1 (one) dance in any of the age groups
and competitive categories.
Out of the competition, the program of each group must include possibility for solo concert, and
participation in mixed concerts with duration from 5 to 30 minutes.
For participation in mixed concerts, the time for performance is up to 15 minutes.

It’s recommended for the majorette groups to be presented with live music orchestra, for the other
groups with CD or mini CD.
The competition is not conducted in styles, but it’s looking for- the most attractive show performance
There won’t be ranking if participants in a category and age group are less than 3.
CRITERIA FOR EVALUATION:
1. Technique of the performance:
It’ll be evaluated the accuracy in the technique of performance corresponding to the chosen style
of the choreographer, the level of complexity (technical skills), originality of interpretation,
implementation of the chosen dance technique, line and rhythm.
2. Composition (choreography):
It’ll be evaluated the choice of dancing elements and their composition, shapes, variations, use of
playground space dance (the dance pattern), originality in the use of different connections and shapes.
3. Image:
Presentation, stage / acting presence of the performers, contact with the audience, assessing the
costume, makeup in accordance with the idea and style of choreography.
4. Show presentation/ idea:
Stage show performance from the performers on the dance floor and its impact on the audience
by presenting and recreating the theatrical and metaphorical images, drama, requisite / set design,
acrobatics, and the exact full expression of the idea in the choreography by exposure, development,
climax and finale.
By all the criteria the judge can give from 1 to 10 points, which means that the maximum
points for dance performances are 40 points, and minimum are 4 points.
It’ s recommended to have a maximum result from 160 points to win the prize, to participate in
all the competitive categories/ solo, duet, chamber groups and formations/, and if it’s possible in all the
age groups.
PRIZE FUND:
The prize fund is determinate with at least 100 participants minimum. If the participants are
less, the prize fund will be reduced proportionally to the registered participants.
The distribution of prizes is completed on the base of complex classification of the groups, in all
of the age groups and categories, according to the numbers of the win places. If the result is equal,
definitive is the amount of total points.

ORGANIZATION
The programs for the individual performances and those for the days of competition will be handed to
the groups on the day of their arrival. The organizers reserve the right to change the individual programs when
necessary after their distribution.
Within each WSE competition session will be performed concerts on an outdoor summer stage in the
towns of Primorsko and Kiten, as well as on an outdoor stages in the area of the municipality.
Before the start of the concerts, during each competition day, the groups will march on the main streets
of the town of Primorsko. Defiles will be guarded by patrol cars of the Ministry of Interior.
The jury, together with its President will be appointed by the organizing committee of the competition
session. It will be formed by proven professionals of culture and arts: directors, ballet-masters, choreographs,
artists, singers and pedagogues.
The jury has the right not to award all prizes; to share the prizes between the participants; to award
special prizes and incentives.
It’s possible the establishment of special prizes such as „For the most attractive performance”, „For
choreography”, „For the youngest performer”, „For master performance”; „For mass performance”, etc.

The jury will select the winners by qualifying them based on a ten-score system by each of the above
criteria. The minimum number of scores is 4, and the maximum - 40. The overall performance of the group /
soloist will be qualified.
The winner is the participant who has collected the greatest number of scores and the same will win the
prize „WSE CHAMPION” for the relevant session.
The results of each competition session are valid for the final ranking of the champions for the prize „WSE
ABSOLUTE CHAMPION”. In the championship rank list are included all winners of the WSE during the respective
year, and in the final ranking will be used also the results of the audience voting given at:
www.eurogradebg.com. Voting for the WSE Absolute Champion is opened after the end of the last competition
session for the respective year.
Participant will be awarded with diplomas: Laureate I, II, III degree and medals that will be bestowed at
the closing of each competition session.
Video and photo capture of all public performances of the groups. The same will be broadcasted through
the World Wide Web on the WSE TV channel.
(The organizers reserve the right to make any kind of recording, broadcasting, filming and distribution of
materials without paying any rights or benefits).
The agenda of each WSE competition session will include: Discotheque „ Neptune Evening”, competitions
„Miss and Mister”, FLASHMOB events.
Participants are provided with accommodation and three meals upon payment at hotels and holiday
homes of category 2, 3 and 4 * in the town of Primorsko. Requests for valid offers and information about
accommodation can be mailed to: [email protected]. A group of 20 people there is a free place (21 - st)
for group leaders and accompanying people.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS
Registration fee in the competition (does not include accommodation and food): payable once for
every dancer / participant for each competitive nomination.
Soloist
30 € per participant.
Duet and Trio
20 € per participant.
Group from 4 till 30 persons
15 € per participant.
Group of 30 persons and more - 10% discount.
Note!!!
Registration fee is due in full, only from groups that self organized own accommodation.
Transportation costs to Primorsko and back shall be paid by the participants!!!
Transport costs for the participants during the festival of the stages in Primorsko and Kiten are for the cost of
the organizers.
It’s obligatory to pay the fees by bank transfer in 15 days, after the confirmation for participation from the
organizers. In this period it is necessary to send the transfer confirmation by email or fax. Applications without
confirmation are canceled.

Note: The groups must arrive on 12.08 after 12 o’clock and depart on 18.08.16 after breakfast.
