DougBalliettisacomposer,instrumentalistandpoetbasedinNewYorkCity.TheNewYorkTimeshas
describedhispoetryas“brilliantandwitty,”hisbassplayingas“elegant,”andhiscompositionsas“vivid,
emotive,withcontemporarytwists.”Alongwithhistwinbrother,Brad,hehostsTheBrothersBallietton

majorNewYorkvenues,includingCarnegieHall,LincolnCenter,Juilliard,theStone,SubCulture,(le)
PoissonRouge,Galapagos,ShapeshifterLab,andSpectrum.Upcomingpremieresincludeadoublebass
concertoforJuilliardfacultymemberRobertNairnandanewcantataformembersofLesArts
FlorissantsandLeJardindesVoix,tobewrittenspecificallyforWilliamChristie’spersonalgardens.
ElliotColeisacomposer,singer,andprogrammer.Postludes,hisbookofbowedvibraphonequartets,is
anewstapleofmodernpercussionrepertoire,havingbeenperformedbyover140ensemblesallover
theworldincludingSoPercussion,BlowUpRoma,MobiusQuartet,andAmadindaatallmajorAmerican
musicschools.HehassunghisHanuman'sLeap,abardicepicforvoicesanddrums,in15cities,andit
