RedBrick Health Appoints Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer
MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 2, 2010) – RedBrick Health, the Health EarningsSM company, today announced the
appointment of Gregg Waldon as chief financial officer and Glen Gunderson as chief business officer.
Waldon will oversee finance, investor relations, administration and human resources at RedBrick Health.
Gunderson will direct sales, business development, client services and program delivery.
“Savvy employers know that every dollar spent on health promotion efforts can reduce medical costs by
more than three dollars and lower absenteeism costs by nearly the same amount,” said Kyle Rolfing,
chief executive officer for RedBrick Health. “Using RedBrick’s Health Earnings System to deploy
integrated and highly engaging health management initiatives, our own clients have lowered their total
projected health care costs up to five percent.
“Gregg and Glen’s expertise will be critical as we help current and prospective clients and partners reap
this tangible ROI, and, more broadly, drive responsible behavior change and financial alignment in health
care between employer and employees.”
The Waldon and Gunderson hires come on the heels of recent RedBrick Health announcements that
include the signing of six new Health Earnings System customers and launch of a next-generation
interactive health assessment, which is drawing widespread praise from clients and employees.
RedBrick’s fully integrated Health Earnings System helps employees and family members proactively
choose how to improve their health, while appropriately allowing them to earn lower health care costs for
their efforts.
Waldon Details
Waldon has 25 years of finance and accounting experience that includes driving significant revenue
growth over short periods of time; raising capital, including leading multiple initial public stock offerings;
managing publicly traded companies; and executing strategic mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to RedBrick Health, Waldon served as senior vice president and chief financial officer, secretary and
treasurer for SoftBrands, where he helped grow revenue for the enterprise software company from $69
million to $99 million. Waldon also served as chief financial officer of Stellent, where he helped grow the
enterprise software company’s revenue from $2 million to $123 million. Prior to Stellent, he served as
chief financial officer of GalaGen, a bio-pharmaceutical company. Waldon started his career in public
accounting, first at Deloitte & Touche and then at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He holds a bachelor’s in
accounting from Bemidji State University and a master’s in finance from Colorado State University.
Gunderson Details
