Ecology – the study of the interaction between living things and their
environment
Environment – surroundings
Biotic – living components of an ecosystem
Organic - - components that are living, once living, or came from life
Abiotic – non-living components of an ecosystem
Inorganic – components that are not originated from life
Ecologist – a person where studies ecology
Ecosystem – a place where ecological interaction take place
Biosphere – all living ecosystems on earth (largest ecosystem)
Climate – temperature and precipitation patterns of a region
Biome – a large geographical region with specific plants and animals
