Frilled shark

The frilled shark is one of two extant species of shark in the family
Chlamydoselachidae, with a wide but patchy distribution in the
Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.


Gulper eel

The Gulper eel is an order of unusual ray-finned fish, superficially
similar to eels, but with multiple internal differences. Most of the fish
in this order are deep-sea types known from only a handful of
specimens, such as the pelican eel.



Fangtooths are beryciform fish of the family Anoplogastridae that
live in the deep sea. The name is from Greek anoplo meaning



Stargazer fish

The stargazers are a family, Uranoscopidae, of perciform fish that
have eyes on top of their heads. The family includes about 51
species in eight genera, all marine and found worldwide in shallow
and deep salt waters.
