Overview and understanding
Overview and understanding is imperative. When working
with the soil, cohesion is an essential aspect; cohesion
between top soil and sub soil, between information and
working method and also cohesion between goal and
available means.
This is the world in which TTE Consultants successfully
operates; we explore the problem and translate it into
feasible portions which can be effectively delegated to

Fundamental knowledge
Soil Remediation focuses on eliminating risks. The primary

• As process managers TTE Consultants works on the
remediation and site development of some of the most
seriously contaminated industrial sites and landfills in
the Netherlands. The success of these projects is largely
explained by the intensive cooperation between TTE
Consultants, specialized contractors and the spatial
planners. The focus in these projects is to realize the
most cost-effective redevelopment. Our clients include
multinationals like Akzo-Nobel and MSD, local authorities
and central government.
• From a more technical role TTE Consultants also works on
remediation projects where the pollution situation, the soil
structure and/or above-ground use need special attention.
In developing ground breaking strategies and techniques
we cooperate with universities, laboratories and specialized
in-situ contractors. Remediation projects are commissioned
by various stakeholders including landowners, public land
managers and governments.
• In all TTE Consultants projects our technological knowledge
plays a central role, as designer and implementer of
projects, but also as reviewer of third party strategies and
designs. From a similar position, TTE Consultants is closely
involved in the realization of legislation and regulations in
the field of remediation and comprehensive field-oriented
land development.
