In the course of worldwide environmental movement, the use of chemicals which may have environmental
impact has been controlled where PFOS (perfluorooctane sulphonate) and PFOA (perfluorroctanoate),
conventional ingredients of fluorinated oil and water repellent are included. In order to meet both environmental
and professional needs, we have completed our latest development of non-fluorinated water repellent agent,
PARAGIUM ECO-85A.
PARAGIUM ECO-85A can be used for cotton, polyester, nylon and their blend to give durable and superior
water repellency as well as soft handling touch. Additionally, the most noteworthy function of PARAGIUM
ECO-85A is reviving water repellency even by natural (air) drying after laundering.
Little generation of halogen-induced organic aerosol is due to absence of fluorinated compound.

Removability test
1. Coat resin on cloth with water repellent finish, and make 5 slits vertically and
horizontally on the resin film by using a utility knife to form 25 blocks in total.
2. Sellotape each line of the blocks.
3. Pull off the tapes on each line instantly from the top, and count the number of
blocks where coat film was removed.
