 The USA also includes Alaska – the largest American state
and the Hawaii Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
NATIONAL FLAG
- It consists of 2 oblongs = the smaller blue one with 50 white stars
(50 states) and the larger oblong consisting of 6 white and 7 red
stripes symbolizing the original 13 colonies.
- It is often called „Stars and Stripes“.

 THE WEST is mountainous, you can find there the mountain
Ranges Sierra Nevada, Cordilleras, Rocky Mountains, The Grand
Canyon.
 THE EAST contains plateaus and lowlands, for example,

 The longest river is Mississippi, called „the Father of Water“.
 The Great Lakes are situated on the border with Canada.
(Superior Lake, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie and Lake Ontario).
