Ascend® plant growth regulator can also be applied by ground or air. Ascend® Plant Growth Regulator Benefits The three hormones in Ascend® plant growth regulator off-set the natural occurrence of Abcisic Acid (ABA) and Ethylene. This works in favor of flowering, pod development and filling. Auxin influences root growth, promotes cell growth, and plant responses to light. Auxins promote the activity of the enzymes required for nitrogen assimilation and in legumes, like soybeans and alfalfa, they improve nodulation and nodule activity. Ascend applied at R1 Yield advantage +6 Auxin works with ethylene to stimulate flower initiation and later is involved in pod and seed development. Plants do not easily synthesize Auxin during high temperatures. Gibberellic Acid is normally stored in the nodes where it increases cell sizing and the reproductive viability of the buds that occur from the nodes. Gibberillins help the crop to flower more fully. Cytokinens (kinetins) induce cell division and nutrient mobilization, both of which are beneficial for pod development and filling.
