Nashville Orthodontist Now Offering AcceleDent, a FDA-Cleared Breakthrough

Braces by Dr. Ruth announces that we are now offering AcceleDent, a noninvasive, FDA-cleared
medical device that speeds up orthodontic treatment by as much as 50 percent. The hands-free oral
device, used in conjunction with orthodontics, employs SoftPulse Technology® to accelerate tooth
movement with just 20 minutes of daily use. The prescription-only
AcceleDent has been praised as a breakthrough treatment by some
of the nation’s leading orthodontists and patients who have

American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) reports an overall growth phase for the industry, including
a 20 percent increase in patients since 2010. The AAO reports a 14 percent increase in adult patients and

Admitting she was the “regimented, stringent one,” during the program, Dr. Ruth turned to Dr. Rachael and
asked her to describe herself. Dr. Rachael quipped, “I studied, but I like to have a good time, so I partied too!”
Though they may be like oil and water, it wasn’t long before everyone could see their love and respect for each
other and the love they have for their family.
Dr. Ruth is the owner/principal of Braces by Ruth and her sister, Dr. Rachael, is a
recurring co-host on the Emmy® Award-winning talk
show, The Doctors, a practicing
board-certified family
medicine physician and
sexologist.
Dr. Ruth, graduating number one in her dental class, wore an exquisite dress, pumps and matching jewelry
while Dr. Rachael, donning a typical Hollywood, California (where she tapes The Doctors) style mini, relaxed, sat
back in her chair and showed off her bright gold
sneakers.
The siblings were
enlightening and sometimes
outright funny bringing laughter
to the crowd who convened in
the Compton-Nelson Auditorium
the evening of May 1, 2014 to
hear their stories.
Both were in agreement when it came to giving
sound advice to the students in the audience,
telling them to “study, choose what you like and
like what you choose (referring to their
specialties), keep family close, get a GOOD
financial advisor and listen to what God is telling
you.”
Other recommendations? “Build your own
brand and don’t be afraid to conduct
shameless self-promotion.” In other words,
you are allowed to toot your own horn.
They are sisters with the same
relatives . . . and that’s where the
similarities end!
Students had a chance to ask questions,
talk one-on-one with the doctors and pose
with them for pics.

Strawberry Mania
1/4 cup(s) cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
1 container(s) (8-ounce) low-fat strawberry yogurt
1 cup(s) frozen strawberries
Directions
In blender, combine cranberry juice, yogurt, and strawberries and
blend until mixture is smooth and frothy. Pour into 1 tall glass.
