The wild tobacco plant grows to three to six feet and has a thick stem. This plant is also known as sacred tobacco. The leaves at the lower end of the stem are large and has a lot of flowers that are usually pink. Sometimes flowers blooming at the top of the plant are yellow. The wild tobacco plant blooms between July and September. The nicotine that is in the wild tobacco plant is very strong and all parts of the plant are poisonous if eaten.
