What Is Diabetes
Diabetes is a Chronic Disease.
Diabetes is Metabolic disorder.
For our bodies to work properly we need to
convert Glucose from food in to energy, a
hormone called Insulin is essential for the
conversion of glucose in to energy.
In people with diabetes, Insulin is no longer
produced or not produced in sufficient amounts
by the body .
What Is Diabetes

So when people with diabetes eat Glucose ,
which is in food such as Breads, Cereals, fruit
any starchy Vegetables ,Yogurt and sweet things,
it can't be converted in to energy .Instead of
being turned in to energy the Glucose stay in
Blood .That’s why blood glucose levels are
higher in people with diabetes and blood
glucose level high called glycaemia.
