for Education & Lifelong Learning.
DISCUSSION
This is the opportunity for the Vision Force to
enlist support of thousands of people as well as
city, county, and state officials to help achieve the
goals of Education & Lifelong Learning for our
community

The names of vision force members have been
assigned as known and members are requested
to sign up to obtain information on
organizations / initiatives not currently
assigned.
Vision Force members are also requested to
suggest additional that should be added to the
inventory.

follow up on the gathering of
the needed information

assessing how their respective
strategies can be leveraged to

Future meeting agendas
DISCUSSION
At a future meeting (date tbd) Lou requested that
representatives from each of the levels of
education (early childhood; elementary; high
school, junior college; university; KCSOS) present
an overview of how their educational mission fits
into the overall educational structure. Suggested
points to cover:
 governance
 relationship to overall education structure
(barriers; synergies)
 funding, including amount of discretionary
funding and funding challenges
 relationships with other organizations
affecting the ability to provide a quality
education
 major challenges and obstacles to
accomplishing your objectives
