AHIMSA – do not harm living things
KARMA – actions have consequences + COLLECTIVE KARMA – actions as a
group/society have consequences for the group/society
8 FOLD PATH – right effort, understanding, view, speech, livelihood,
action, meditation and emotion
METTA – kindness
KARUNA – compassion
3 POISONS – greed, ignorance and fear
MIDDLE WAY – live in moderation
INTER-CONNECTEDNESS - everthing has an impact on each other
UNSELFISHNESS – follow virtues of patience, kindness, morality (the
Perfections)

Hatred does not cease by hatred, hatred ceases by love
Peace can exist if everone respects all others
