Stig Marthinsen holds a MBA in International Marketing. He has since more than a decade worked in the field of developing and fostering Internet services across Europe, including the first web service of the European Commission - I*M Europe. Mr Marthinsen has previously worked for the European Commission's DG Information Society on internet policies and supporting the market to establish new digital content ventures, in particular those harvesting public sector information. His involvement in legal publishing started in 2003 when the need for Caselex was identified. Currently he is partner in Yellow Perfection s.a.r.l. and business developer for Retriever Norge AS, a company in the Schibsted Group. Marc de Vries holds degrees in business economics and Dutch law. Before being detached to the European Commission in Luxemburg as an external advisor in the area of ICT and law from 19962000, he worked as a litigation lawyer at de Brauw Blackstone Westbroek attorneys in The Hague the Netherlands from 1992. After returning to the Netherlands in 2001 he co-established ZENC, a The Hague based and currently mid-size, consultancy company working for national and international governmental organizations. Mr de Vries is also connected to the University of Tilburg as a fellow senior researcher. He has also been deputy head of unit for electronic commerce in the European Commission, involved in policy and programme development. He held management positions in product marketing and software development in a large IT company and has co-founded a software start-up. Paul Timmers has a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands and an MBA from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom. He has published on a range of topics, including a book on electronic commerce strategies and business models. He has been a visiting professor and lecturer at various universities and business schools Dr. Wolfgang Heufler operates his law firm in Vienna since 1987 and is chairman of the IT-Board of the Austrian Bar Association ÖRAK since 2000, he also represents the Bar in Austrias Trust Center for secure digital signatures A-Trust His main interest is to ensure Austrian lawyers to be on the highest standards in electronic communication, e-government applications and signature technologies . In 2004 the digital lawyer identity card with signature chip was introduced, in 2006 electronic document archives will be presented. Dr. Heufler also teaches law in technical high schools in Vienna.
