2017 NUMISMATIC PRODUCT RELEASES
1. Dispensation to the public five thousand (5.000) Silver Collector Coins with
face value of 10 €, minted in 2017, with theme:
“EUROPA STAR 2017 – AGE OF IRON & GLASS”,
according to the following terms.
1) Quantity of three thousand and five hundred (3.500) pieces has been
granted to official coin merchandisers at the 2017 WORLD MONEY
FAIR (Berlin 3-5/2/2017). The above referred quantity was offered on a
scaled discount pricing policy performed on the pre-tax price as shown on
the below referred table:

2) Quantity of seven hundred and fifty (750) pieces will be offered to official
coin merchandisers after applying to D25 Department of the General
Accounting Office of the State. The dispensation of the above mentioned
quantity will be governed by the scaled discount pricing policy referred on
par. 1).
3) Quantity of seven hundred and fifty (750) pieces will be offered to
individual collectors through the network of Bank of Greece in two faces:
A) From 16/3/2017 to 30/3/2017 with the quantity restriction of 1 piece
per person.
B) From 31/3/2017 until the extinction of the product (under the condition
of sufficient stock ) the quantity restriction will be ruled out and the
scaled discount pricing policy referred on par. 1). will be implemented.
The date of release is set to be the 16th of March, 2017 and general selling
price will be 60 € (VAT included).

2. Dispensation to the public Silver Collector Coins with face value of 10 €,
dedicated to:
“Greek Culture-Philosophers-Diogenes”.
The date of release is set to be the 3rd of April, 2017 and selling price 65 euros
(VAT included).
The total mintage is 2.000 Coins.
According to the decisions of the Minister of Finance, during the period from
3/4/17 – 19/4/17 any interested party may obtain one (1) piece. After that
period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.
3. Dispensation to the public Gold Collector Coins with face value of 200€,
dedicated to:
“Greek Culture-Philosophers-Diogenes”.
The date of release is set to be the 26th of April, 2017 and selling price 450
euros (VAT included).
The total mintage is 1.000 Coins.
According to the decisions of the Minister of Finance, during the period from
26/4/17 – 10/5/17 any interested party may obtain one (1) piece. After that
period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.
4. Dispensation to the public Blister Set, containing all eight denominations of
2017 Greek Euro coins, dedicated to:
“Greek Tourism-Crete”.
The date of release is set to be the 15th of May, 2017 and selling price 16,13
euros (VAT included).
The total mintage is 15.000 sets.
According to the decisions of the Minister of Finance, during the period from
15/5/17 – 29/5/17 any interested party may obtain five (5) sets. After that
period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.

period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.
6. Dispensation to the public Gold Collector Coins with face value of 100 €,
dedicated to:
“Greek Mythology – The Olympian Gods - Athena”.
The date of release is set to be the 19th of June, 2017 and selling price 215
euros (VAT included).
The total mintage is 1.200 Coins.
According to the decisions of the Minister of Finance, during the period from
19/6/17 – 30/6/17 any interested party may obtain one (1) piece. After that
period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.
7. Dispensation to the public 2€ commemorative circulation coins, in blister pack,
dedicated to:
“60 Years in Memoriam of Nikos Kazantzakis”.
The date of release is set to be the 10th of July, 2017 and selling price 5 euros
(VAT included).
The total mintage is 4.500 Coins.
According to the decisions of the Minister of Finance, during the period from
10/7/17 – 24/7/17 any interested party may obtain three (3) pieces. After that
period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.

dedicated to:
“60 Years in Memoriam of Nikos Kazantzakis”.
The date of release is set to be the 10th of July, 2017 and selling price 16 euros
(VAT included).
The total mintage is 1.500 Coins.
According to the decisions of the Minister of Finance, during the period from
10/7/17 – 24/7/17 any interested party may obtain one (1) piece. After that
period, there will be no quantity restriction. Purchase of larger quantities
(referring only to official coin merchandisers) is subject to approval in writing
by the 25th Directorate (Dept A) of the General Accounting Office of State.
9. Dispensation to the public 2€ commemorative circulation coins in rolls,
dedicated to:
“60 Years in Memoriam of Nikos Kazantzakis”.
The date of release is set to be the 13th of July, 2017.
