Mandatory Site Visit--Inspection
Individual site visits will be Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00
p.m., scheduled every half-hour. All prospective bidders must attend during the
scheduled time, no exceptions. Contact Laurie Breuch, RFW office, 608-244-5310,
to confirm your attendance and schedule your visit time. Bidder’s may continue to
review the site following their scheduled time until 1:00 p.m.
The Beloit SWEF location is currently in construction. Substantial completion of the site
is scheduled by March 15, 2008. Pertinent building plans and information will only be
available at the mandatory site visit.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to completely inspect the work site, prior to submitting a
bid, to determine all requirements associated with the contract. Failure to do so will in
no way relieve the successful bidder from providing, without additional cost to WisDOT,
all necessary services that may be required to carry out the intent of the resulting
contract.
