Background info: This is my tenth (10th) year teaching. This is my second (2nd) year here at the Career Academy and my second (2nd) year teaching Healthcare Science. I taught
Physical Science and Human Anatomy & Physiology at the high school level for four (4) years; and Physical Science at the middle school level for four (4) years as well. I have the
following certifications/endorsement: (HSTE) Healthcare Science Technology; Middle Grades Science; Special Education; and (ESOL) English to Speakers of Other Languages. I’ve
been practicing nursing for more than 25 years, and have practiced in the following healthcare disciplines: school nursing; mental health & psychiatry; corrections (prison & jail); alcohol
& drug rehabilitation; geriatrics; pediatrics; obstetrics & gynecology; general medicine and the military (United States Army).
