SOUTH EAST LIMOUSIN HERDS COMPETITION 2017
The South East Limousin club is holding a new event for their herd’s competition for 2017. All
breeders can enter the WHOLE HERD competitions and there is also SPECIAL INDIVIDUAL classes
where the breeder does not have to enter the entire herd, only the specific classes they choose.
Judging will take place on the last week of July and there will be a presentation night for all members
on Friday 28th July in the Woodford Dolmen Hotel, Carlow, this is also a social event for all members
with 3 course dinner and entertainment, tickets cost €20.00.
Non-participating members of the herds competition can also attend our social event just fill in the
first part of this form.

Cost of Entry Whole Herd
Large Herd: €100.00, this includes 3 complimentary entries for the Special Classes
Medium Herd: €80.00, this includes 2 complimentary entries for the Special Classes
Small Herd: €50.00, this includes 1 complimentary entry for the Special Classes
New Entrant: €50.00, this includes 1 complimentary entry for the Special Classes
Cost is €5.00 for any other animal if you wish to enter in the special classes

If you are only entering the Special classes the cost is €20.00 for the first animal and
€5.00 for every other class entered. More than one animal is allowed per class
RULES

2. If entering the Whole Herd Competition all Pedigree Limousin cattle must be presented to
the Judge for inspection. If entering the individual classes Only that animal needs to be
presented to the Judge.
3. Prizes will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd in classes.
4. Classes may be omitted or amalgamated depending on the entries.
5. Total cost for Entries and dinner dance will be taken by direct debit from your account
by the Irish Limousin Cattle society.
